Didn’t hit my deadline of a Christmas book. That’s okay. The book is still coming.
Back in August, as I was starting school, I made a couple of posts saying I was trying to get a Christmas book out for Christmas 2025. I did not hit the goal. But because of those flurry of writing sessions, I am 60-70% done with the manuscript for a Christmas chapter book. I didn’t hit the deadlines, but I have a 60% completed manuscript which is better than no manuscript. Some writing, always beats NO writing. So expect a Kickstarter coming soon to help get the next book off the ground.
My newest book–Quinton–is now available in paperback
Quinton is now available in paperback. Things have changed at Amazon. It used to be I would get the physical copy of the book and then approve it. But now I approve a file on the screen and suddenly it is for sale. I admit, I’m not a big fan of that. So the book has been available in paperback for a few days, I just haven’t posted it anywhere. First chapter of my next book–Quinton
I started this book four and half years ago for National Novel Writing Month. I didn’t finish it then. Which is okay, even if I didn’t finish NaNoMo I still had the skeleton for a new story. I wanted to finish this earlier. Like much earlier. But sometimes life interferes. This book is a departure for me. The main characters are still children, but this is my first PG-13 novel. Do with that as you will. But the main chapters are still children that feel left out and use friends and community to solve problems. I don’t set out to write books with that theme.
